SGSGlobal Sports celebrated the festive season by supporting Nigerian athletes through the distribution of essential food items. This thoughtful initiative aimed to recognize and uplift athletes, bringing smiles and relief to many within the sports community.
The outreach focused on para-athletes, basketball players, and aspiring boxers, ensuring they felt valued and encouraged during the holiday season. The distribution was held at the National Sports Stadium and Ebenezer Mini Stadium in Egbeda, Lagos, where SGSGlobal representatives engaged directly with the athletes to provide much-needed support.
Victoria, a para-table tennis player, expressed her heartfelt gratitude, saying:
“I am truly honored and grateful to be part of this program. I pray for more blessings and favor. What I really need is financial support and encouragement from the government and the global community.”
Budding basketball players and amateur boxers, who often face challenges in accessing resources to sustain their training, also welcomed the initiative enthusiastically.
Dotun Omisakin, alongside Haleemah Olatunji and David, represented SGSGlobal Sports at the event. Omisakin highlighted the organization’s dedication to supporting the Nigerian sports community, not only through initiatives like this but also by promoting long-term growth and development.
